Apple Crisp
6 cups thinly sliced, and pealed apples
1/3-cup sugar
1-teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter or margarine melted
¾ cup sugar
½ cup all purpose flour
1/3-cup butter or margarine
Whipped topping thawed
Mix together apples, 1/3-cup sugar, cinnamon, salt, and melted butter. Place in greased 8-inch square baking dish; set
aside. Combine ¾ cup sugar and flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 degrees about 45 minutes
or until apples are tender. Serve warm with whipped topping. Makes 8 servings.

Cornbread
1 1/3 cup stone ground cornmeal
1 1/3 cup flour
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups buttermilk
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large beaten eggs
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Stir together in a large bowl the dry
ingredients. Make a well in the center and pour in the buttermilk,
half of the melted butter, and the eggs. Stir just until smooth. Put
the rest of the melted butter into a 9x13" baking pan and put into
the oven for two minutes being careful not to brown it. Pour batter
into hot pan carefully. Bake for 25-30 minutes. A toothpick should
come out of the center clean.

Hamburger Lasagna
1 package of ready bake lasagna noodles
2-½ cups ricotta cheese
2 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup Parmesan cheese
4 cups spaghetti sauce
1-pound hamburger
In a 13 x 9 baking dish spread a thin layer of sauce on bottom, line noodles on sauce. Spread evenly about 1 ¼ cup of
ricotta cheese over noodles, sprinkle evenly about 1 ¼ cup mozzarella cheese, then cover completely with sauce, add some cooked
hamburger, then repeat all steps again, then put remaining noodles on top, cover with remaining sauce, and sprinkle top with
parmesan cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour or until done.

Italian Style Potatoes
4 large potatoes cut into wedges
1-cup tomato sauce
1-cup mozzarella cheese
In 11x 9 baking dish arrange potatoes into 1 layer. Spread sauce over potatoes. Sprinkle cheese over sauce. Bake at 400
degrees until potatoes are fully cooked, about 30 minutes.
