Items Needed
Decorations of roses, and lilacs, decorate with the colors of green, red, yellow, and white. Incense of lavender, rose,
and vanilla, Candles to represent Goddess, and God, and one to reunite them.
Cast the Circle
I do cut apart a space between the realms of Humankind, and the Mighty Ones. A circle of art, to focus and contain the
power raised herein.
Call The Quarters
Welcome, O Guardian of the Watchtower of the East, power of air, and intellect. I/we pray that you will be with me/us

Goddess of love, Goddess of dance. Fertile maiden Goddess whom has the voice for song. Oh Brighid please join me tonight.

Oh great God of the hunt, and Lord of love, please join me tonight in this celebration of the sabat Bealtaine. Please
lend me your aid, and guidance in this my undertaking. I bid you honor, and a fond hello.
Ancestors Invocation
Oh beloved Ancestors whom have gone before, I/we ask you to give your blessings, and aid on this special night of Bealtaine.
Family members of my/our lineage, and spiritual family which guides me/us. I/we bid you a fond welcome.
Statement of purpose;
I have come here on the festive Bealtaine day to give honor and remembrance to the Goddess whom reunited with the God,
and thus created this beautiful world in which I live, learn, and love. I also am here on this day to celebrate the rebirth
of the earth through this wonderful conception. May the growing births of life throughout the season be plentiful and brilliant,
and may I always keep the light from the Divine burning brightly within my soul. I will light these two candles in order to
represent the Bealtaine
fires that are lit in the Celtic lands on this day.
Act of power May Queen and May King
(May King) -
He is the Lord of life, and the Sun is my body, and the rays are my passion. The light is his joy, and inspiration. He
is reborn in midwinter, and in the season of the ram he will arise, within the spouting seeds, and the growing plants. He
now calls to his sister the maiden, Come Play With Me, and he warms her cold earth with rays of heated sunshine that will
melt away the ice which has held her down for the winter. With his light he will touch her, and awaken her loving heart. She
turns to him with an open heart, and he will come for her, and join with her, and stand by her during the season of life.
(light the candle for the May King)
(May Queen) -
She is the Lady of life, and the Earth is my body. The plants, and animals which live upon her are her children. During
the cold winter she lay sleeping, and she protects all the roots, and seeds beneath her blanket of white. she awakes as the
Maiden when the groundhog called for her, and then the ice cracked, and the first buds of life appeared. Soon the singing
of birds filled the mornings, and with feeling the warmth of the sun she arose. She now hears her brothers voice, and it fills
her with great love, She will now join him in the season of life.
(Light the candle for the May Queen)
The God is not greater than the Goddess, Nor is the Goddess greater than the God, They are both equal, and can not be
complete without each other

Let the third flame show the reunification of the Goddess with the God, and let its eternal flame shine within me.
So Mote It Be
Offering for Mother Earth & Father Sky
As Brighid and Beltene have heard my/our praises, and witnessed, and aided in our celebration of Ostara I/we shall now
receive their blessings in return. The blessings of the fruits of the Earth so that I/we shall life without hunger or thirst.
I/we shall drink this wine as the blessing from Brighid, and in return offer Brighid some with My/our love, thanks, and
respect.
I/we shall eat this bread as the blessing from Beltene, and in return offer Beltene some with My/our love, thanks, and
respect.
Thanking the Ancestors
Beloved Ancestors, whom guide me/us, and have gone before. I/we pray that you will be with me/us, and that I/we may call
upon you again in the future. I/we thank you for your blessings, and aid on this night, and always. I/we offer you my/our
respect, and love. May there be peace between us always. I/we bid you a fond farewell.
Thanking Beltene;
