Reasons & purpose for ritual
We come here in celebration of the Lughnasadh, the first harvest. This is the time when nature is in bountiful supply.
O Father sky one whom shines over the ripening fields, grant me the understanding of sacrifice as you prepare to give yourself
to the sickle of the Mother Earth, and journey forth to the land of eternal summer.
O Mother Earth please teach me the secrets of rebirth, as the sun now begins to lose its strength.
Act of Power
Earth Healing Stones
Hold your stones in your hands and focus on them, and think about the earth as the stone is a microcosm of the earth,
and is connected to the whole of the earth. think on that part of the earth which is in need of healling, and focus on it,
picture it clearly in your mind, and imagine it being healed, imagine that the healling is complete.
Now Imagine a ball of white light around it, the light is clear, and strong, see this light full of energy, and as bright
as you can imagine. Now imagine that the thing that needs healing is within the ball of light, and see the ball of light healling
it. see it healed and well again. visualize the healing complete.
Now place your stones in a circle in the center of your altar.
Now chant
We the children of the earth and Sky
Must heal our Mother by and by
With hearts and minds we all will try
To bring her healing by and by.
Now focus on your energy in the stones, and see them filled with a beautiful clear white light. Imagine the stones shining
with the light, and that light is radiating in all directions. Imagine the stones filled withenergy that is strong, and pulsing,
and it gaining in strength. Now think about what you have healed, see it healthy, now send it out into manifestation. Now
release the energy all at once.
Closing
Mother earth, you are the creator and sustainer of all things. Your love lights our path through the darkness. and you
wisdom guides us through lifes journey. Father Sky one whomshines down upon us, and aids in the nurturing and protection of
us. We offer you our love, and thank you for your presence, and your aid on this night, and at all times. We offer you gratitude
and respect, and bid you honor and a fond farewell.
